Title: Quasilinear systems of Jordan block type
Abstract:
I will discuss integrability aspects of quasilinear systems whose velocity matrix has a nontrivial Jordan block structure. I plan to cover the following topics:
- Integrable systems of Jordan block type and modified KP hierarchy;
- Hamiltonian aspects of quasilinear systems of Jordan block type;
- Example: delta-functional reductions of the soliton gas equation.
The talk will be based on joint work with Lingling Xue, Maxim Pavlov and Pierandrea Vergallo.
