Title: Lax representations, integrable hierarchies, and non-central extensions of symmetry algebras of differential equations

Abstract:
I will talk about the technique for finding Lax representations of nonlinear PDEs via non-central extensions of their symmetry algebras that are generated by non-trivial exotic 2-cocycles. Examples will include Lax representations with non-removable spectral parameters and integrable hierarchies associated with some nonlinear PDEs.
