CRACK is a Reduce package that solves overdetermined systems of ordinary or partial differential equations (ODEs/PDEs) with at most polynomial nonlinearities. It was originally written by Thomas Wolf and Andreas Brandt, with contributions by Francis Wright.

CRACK is also used for large polynomial systems. For sparse linear overdetermined systems there is a CRACK module which solves extreme size systems with 10^8 equations and more.

For more information see the CRACK documentation inside the folder /packages/crack in the main Reduce source code folder.
