Title: Matrix commuting differential operators

Abstract:
The talk will discuss the theory of scalar and matrix commuting differential operators. There will be presented new examples of scalar commuting differential operators of rank 2 and the explicit form of their common eigenfunctions. We will discuss new results in the theory of matrix commuting differential operators of rank 2 and vector rank (2,2) and show an effective method for constructing such operators.
