Title: New software for computations of geometric structures related to integrability of general PDEs
Abstract:
Paul Kersten is one of the developers of CDIFF, a REDUCE package for computations in the geometry of PDEs. He used CDIFF for computations of Hamiltonian, symplectic and recursion operators for PDEs (as well as everything else involved in integrability, like higher or generalized symmetries and conservation laws). His approach was suitable for computations in dimensions, but practically inextensible to the general multidimensional situation. The speaker will show a recently developed software extending CDIFF possibilities to computations in multidimensional cases.
